Animal rights group, Animal Rising, vandalized a portrait of King Charles in a London gallery by pasting the face of animated character Wallace over His Majesty's. The group's action, captured in a video shared on social media, was aimed at highlighting the alleged cruelty on RSPCA Assured farms endorsed by King Charles, who recently became the royal patron of the charity. The Metropolitan Police responded to the incident but found no damage to the painting. The artwork by Jonathan Yeo, unveiled at Buckingham Palace, remains on display at the Philip Mould Gallery. This act of protest by activists raises questions about animal welfare and the role of prominent figures in supporting such causes.
