The app is powered by Gemini 1.0 Pro and offers a paid option for Gemini Advanced, which includes a million token context window for processing complex information.
Gemini has also been quietly launched in Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, with plans to expand to more countries. Android users can download the app on the Play Store, while iPhone users in India will soon have access. Google is also integrating Gemini into apps like Gmail and Google Messages, with a focus on expanding the AI assistant to more devices and languages globally. Originally launched in the U.S., Gemini has seen success in European markets and continues to expand its language support to reach more users.
