'Inside Out 2 Smashes Box Office Records, Surpasses $1 Billion Worldwide Faster than Ever'

Pixar and Disney's Inside Out 2 has made history by reaching the $1 billion mark at the global box office in record time for an animated film, revitalizing the summer box office in the process. The movie achieved this milestone in just 19 days since its release, faster than any other animated film in history.
Inside Out 2 continues to dominate the box office, with a domestic total of $469.3 million and an international total of $545.5 million, bringing its global cume to $1.015 billion. This makes it the 11th animated film to join the elite $1 billion club, with Disney holding claim to eight of those releases.
Directed by Kelsey Mann, the sequel introduces new emotions and challenges for its young heroine, Riley. With a star-studded voice cast led by Amy Poehler, Inside Out 2 has shattered records and cemented itself as a much-needed win for Pixar.
