The Chicago Street Race weekend saw some clear winners and losers emerge on the track. Alex Bowman broke an 80-race winless streak, while Tyler Reddick secured his sixth top 10 finish in the last seven races. Ty Gibbs continued his success with a third-place finish, and Joey Hand made an impressive fourth-place finish in his first start of the year. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. maintained his strong performance with a sixth-place result, and Todd Gilliland secured his ninth consecutive top-20 finish with a seventh-place result. Shane van Gisbergen's fantastic racing in the Xfinity race led to a win, but he faced adversity in the Cup race, finishing last after contact with Chase Briscoe. Kyle Larson's race ended in disappointment with a 39th-place finish, while Alex Bowman's win dropped Chris Buescher to the final playoff spot. Christopher Bell's strong performance was marred by late-race contact, leaving him in a disappointing 37th place finish.
