Apple recently released the first beta of macOS Sequoia to the public beta testing group, allowing users to experience the new features ahead of its fall launch. The public beta includes iPhone Mirroring, which lets users control their iPhone from their Mac, improved window tiling, Safari website summarization, and Messages app enhancements.
New features such as a Passwords app, redesigned Photos app, audio transcription in Notes, and automatic equation solving have been added. macOS Sequoia also integrates Apple Intelligence features for quality of life improvements, including writing tools, Image Playground for unique images, and Genmoji for custom emojis. Siri in macOS Sequoia will use AI for language understanding and contextual relevance, including consulting ChatGPT for complex queries.
