Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson and two of his high school teammates tragically lost their lives in a Maryland car crash on a Saturday morning. The vehicle they were in, a Dodge Charger, was completely totaled, with pictures showing it flattened and severed on a tow truck following the wreck in Upper Marlboro. The crash left all three occupants, including Jackson, Anthony Lytton, Jr., and Isaiah Hazel, former football players at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School, dead. Hazel was driving the Charger, with Jackson in the front seat and Lytton in the rear. Oregon star Jackson, drafted by Minnesota, was described as a rising talent with a bright future by Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell. The crash, involving three vehicles, was a devastating tragedy that left the football community mourning the loss of these promising young men.
