The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards celebrated the best in daytime TV, with historic moments and big wins. At 98 years old, Dick Van Dyke made history as the oldest actor to win a Daytime Emmy, taking home the award for Guest Performance on Days of Our Lives. General Hospital dominated the night, winning awards for Best Directing, Writing, Support Performance, and Drama Series. Entertainment Tonight also made history, winning the first-ever Outstanding Daytime Personality Emmy and Outstanding Entertainment News Series for the fifth consecutive year. The star-studded ceremony, hosted by ET's Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, showcased the talent and diversity of daytime programming. Night two featured the Daytime Emmy Creative Arts & Lifestyle Awards, recognizing excellence in legal/courtroom, travel, culinary, educational programs, and more. The event showcased the best and brightest in daytime television.
