BMW has unveiled the 2025 M2, featuring a 20-horsepower increase to 473 hp, placing it on par with the M3 and M4. However, the standout feature for the Motor1 staff is the addition of all-silver wheels, a departure from the usual black and gray options. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine remains the same, with improved throttle mapping for faster response. The new M2 boasts quicker acceleration times, with 0-60 mph achieved in 4.1 seconds for the manual and 3.9 seconds for the automatic. Though the bodywork remains unchanged, the color palette has expanded, and black badging and exhaust tips have been added. Interior upgrades include iDrive 8.5, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and optional red accents on sport seats. Production starts in August with a base price of $66,075, making it a compelling offer compared to the more expensive M3.
