Money | June 25, 2024, 12:34 p.m.
Airbus SE announced updated guidance for 2024, reporting charges of around €0.9bn on certain space programmes due to technical challenges. In the commercial aircraft sector, supply chain issues led to adjusted plans, with around 770 deliveries expected in 2024 and a production rate of 75 A320 Family aircraft per month now set for 2027. The company will maintain its target despite facing challenges in engines, aerostructures, and cabin equipment. The updated 2024 guidance includes targets for commercial aircraft deliveries, EBIT Adjusted, and Free Cash Flow before Customer Financing. Airbus assumes no additional disruptions to the world economy, air traffic, or internal operations. The half-year results are set to be disclosed on 30 July 2024. Analysts can follow an upcoming call on the Airbus website for more information.
