Amazon has taken steps to reduce its use of plastic air pillows in packaging, with plans to completely eliminate their usage by the end of the year. The company has already reduced the use of plastic air pillows by 95 percent and switched to paper filler instead. Amazon has announced that it will use paper filler for "nearly all" customer deliveries on Prime Day. This move is part of Amazon's commitment to reducing waste and focusing on using recycled materials. By phasing out the use of plastic air cushions in its distribution centers, Amazon aims to make a positive impact on the environment and create more sustainable packaging solutions for its customers.
