A new report from suppliers suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro will now include the tetraprism periscope lens previously exclusive to the Max model, offering up to 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom. Industry insiders indicate that Taiwanese manufacturers Largan Precision and Genius Electronic Optical will be primary suppliers for the periscope lenses in the new iPhones. The move signifies a shift towards feature parity between the Pro and Pro Max models in terms of camera capabilities. This upgrade comes after positive reviews of the previous generation's 5x zoom, indicating that the Pro models will now offer advanced camera features without the need to opt for the larger Max model.
