The iOS 18 beta 1 has brought some new changes, excluding Siri improvements, ChatGPT access, and many Apple Intelligence features. Apple seems to be cautious in revealing a timeline for these features. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Siri will see major improvements next year, including accessing personal information to provide personalized responses. ChatGPT support is expected later this year for backup queries. Other features like mail categorization, home app support for robocleaners, and more are also promised for later this year. Gurman suggests these features may roll out in iOS 18.1 or 18.2, with some arriving in October and the rest in December. Apple seems to be working towards making Siri a more intelligent assistant by 2025, with features like interacting with apps and on-screen awareness.
