Apple Intelligence: What to Expect This Fall and Which Features Will Be Missing

Apple Intelligence is set to revolutionize the iPhone, Mac, and iPad with the release of iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and iPadOS 18 this fall. Even labeled as beta, these updates will introduce groundbreaking features. However, not all Apple Intelligence capabilities will be available at launch, with some features not ready until the coming year. One limitation is that Apple Intelligence will initially only support U.S. English, excluding the majority of Apple's non-English user base. Additionally, Siri's advanced app actions and on-screen awareness will require further development post-launch, potentially not until 2025. The Mail app will also receive upgrades like message categorization and summaries powered by Apple Intelligence, but these features will not be available until later updates. Although Apple Intelligence holds great promise, users may need to exercise patience as the full potential of these innovations unfolds over time.
