Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has personally commissioned Aston Martin to build a road-legal track version of its Valour sportscar called the Valiant. Only 38 Valiants will be produced, featuring a powerful 745PS 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12 engine and unique wheel covers inspired by Aston's racing history. The car is being built by Aston's bespoke 'Q' production division, allowing owners to customize their vehicles. Alonso stated that the Valiant is a more extreme, race car-inspired version that delivers a thrilling drive both on-road and on-track. This project follows Alpine's track-focused A110 R Fernando Alonso car, showing a trend of F1 drivers commissioning specialized vehicles. The Valiant is described as a modern masterpiece by Aston's brand and commercial officer, focusing on intense driving experiences and exceptional performance. This project showcases Aston Martin's commitment to building rare and extraordinary cars for true drivers.
