AT&T will be increasing the monthly prices of older unlimited wireless plans by $10 or $20 starting in August 2024. Single-line customers will see a $10 per month increase, while multi-line customers will experience a $20 total monthly increase. These changes will impact several retired unlimited plans, offering customers more high-speed data and hotspot data to soften the blow. Customers may consider switching to current unlimited plans with prices ranging from $66 to $86 for a single line. AT&T initially introduced Unlimited & More plans in 2018, making their entry-level plan start at $70 instead of $65. Before making any decisions, customers should understand the data speed limits of current plans, which vary based on the plan tier. AT&T's price hike on older plans follows in the footsteps of T-Mobile, but AT&T did not guarantee that prices on these plans would never increase.
