Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar, who led the team to three AFC championship games, revealed in a recent interview that he has liver disease and was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Kosar, 60, shared that he was put on a transplant list after being diagnosed with cirrhosis 16 months ago. He experienced a health scare at a Thursday Night Football game last season, leading to a blood transfusion and a Parkinson's diagnosis. Despite the challenges, Kosar expressed optimism about his health, crediting treatment and lifestyle changes for his improved condition. Doctors say he will eventually need a liver transplant, but Kosar remains positive and focused on his recovery. A former football star at the University of Miami, Kosar's NFL career included over 23,000 passing yards and 124 touchdowns from 1985 to 1996. Despite facing health challenges, Kosar remains resilient and hopeful for the future.
