Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, has filed for divorce from his wife, Australian musician Johanna “Firerose” Hodges, 34, after less than a year of marriage. Citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct, Cyrus is seeking an annulment, alleging the marriage was obtained by fraud. He has agreed to pay Firerose $5,000 per month for suitable housing in Tennessee. The couple tied the knot in October 2023, proclaiming their love and unity on social media. Firerose first met Cyrus on the set of “Hannah Montana” a decade prior. Their marriage followed Cyrus's divorce from his longtime wife, Tish Cyrus, in April 2022. The split has caused rifts in the Cyrus family, with daughter Miley reportedly estranged from her father, while siblings Noah and Braison have maintained a closer relationship with Billy Ray.
