Blue Bell, a Texas-based ice cream maker, has introduced a new flavor, Cookies 'n Cream Cheesecake, to celebrate National Ice Cream Month (July) and National Cheesecake Day (July 30). This delectable treat features rich cheesecake ice cream mixed with chocolate cookie crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies. In addition to the new flavor, Blue Bell will also be offering a limited edition A&W Root Beer Float ice cream, combining creamy vanilla ice cream with A&W Root Beer flavored sherbet. Both flavors are perfect additions to summer gatherings and can be found in half-gallon and pint sizes at retailers from July 11. President Ronald Reagan originally designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984, with July 30 officially becoming National Cheesecake Day the following year.
