Justin Timberlake's lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., is prepared to vigorously defend the pop star against DWI charges in the Hamptons. Timberlake, 43, was arrested after leaving dinner at Sag Harbor's American Hotel and was charged with DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to stay in a proper lane of travel. Despite refusing a breathalyzer test, Timberlake was released from custody on his own recognizance and is not required to attend his next court date on July 26. Burke, known for representing VIP clients in the Hamptons, is confident in his defense of Timberlake. The arresting officer was reportedly unaware of Timberlake's celebrity status but noted bloodshot and glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol.
