DeMar DeRozan will return to the United Center with the Kings next season, likely receiving a video tribute and standing ovation. The Bulls thanked DeRozan for his leadership and commitment as they completed a three-team trade. In exchange, the Bulls acquired guard Chris Duarte, two second-round draft picks, and cash considerations from the Kings. Duarte, an All-Rookie Second Team player, adds offensive abilities to the Bulls' guard-heavy lineup. The team is also actively trying to trade Zach LaVine, potentially using the acquired draft picks in a package deal. The status of injured guard Lonzo Ball remains uncertain, but he could soon participate in full scrimmages. Additionally, the Bulls signed Jalen Smith to a three-year contract. The team is making strategic moves to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season.
