The Chicago Bears have officially signed their top two draft picks, quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze, just in time for the start of training camp. Williams' four-year contract is worth a whopping $39 million with a $25.5 million signing bonus. The only first-round picks remaining unsigned are Vikings' J.J. McCarthy and Dallas Turner.
With McCarthy possibly waiting on Williams to sign first, the Vikings are reportedly not making progress in finalizing his contract. In contrast, the Bears are focused on the upcoming season, building a strong team around Williams and Odunze, alongside veteran players like Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, and D'Andre Swift. As the Bears gear up for the 2024 season, all eyes are on their promising young talents and high expectations for success.
