Dawn Staley and Prince Harry receive prestigious awards at the 2024 ESPYS ceremony

LOS ANGELES -- The 2024 ESPYS, hosted by Serena Williams, honored groundbreaking achievements in women's sports, with notable figures like Simone Biles, A'ja Wilson, and Caitlin Clark taking center stage. Dawn Staley, coach of the national champion South Carolina women's basketball team, was recognized for her perseverance in supporting women's sports and fighting against cancer. Other highlights included Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, receiving the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service, acknowledging his work with the Invictus Games. Retired NFL safety Steve Gleason also received the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage for his work in helping those with ALS. The event saw tributes to outstanding athletes across various sports, including Shohei Ohtani and Luka Doncic.
