Delta Air Lines has revised its uniform policy to prohibit employees from wearing pins representing countries other than the U.S. This change comes after controversy arose regarding Palestinian pins worn by flight attendants. The issue began with a social media post mistakenly identifying the pins as "Hamas badges." Delta responded by deleting a comment that did not align with their values and apologized for any hurt caused. Despite backlash and calls for boycotts, the airline stood by its employees, affirming their compliance with uniform guidelines. The employee who made the original comment has been counseled and is no longer representing Delta on social media. Delta's priority is to maintain a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for both employees and customers while continuing to provide a premium experience for all.
