Ellen DeGeneres has canceled four of her Ellen’s Last Stand…Up comedy shows, scheduled in July and August for Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago. The cancellations were announced on Ticketmaster's website, with refunds being issued automatically. The reasons behind the cancellations were not immediately revealed by DeGeneres' representatives. The comedian's Last Stand...Up tour is her first since the end of her talk show in 2022, following workplace controversy. Despite the cancellations, DeGeneres will still perform in San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago. She also plans to release a second Netflix special before the year ends. During early performances, DeGeneres addressed the workplace controversy humorously, reassuring the audience that she is not mean. The cancellations come amidst DeGeneres' efforts to revive her career after the controversy surrounding her previous show.
