SpaceX's CEO Elon Musk recently confirmed that the next Starship test flight, IFT-5, is set to launch in roughly four weeks. The previous four test flights have shown significant progress, with IFT-4 being the most successful yet, lasting over an hour and achieving a successful re-entry and controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean. This quick turnaround to launch IFT-5 suggests that SpaceX is ready to further advance its Starship program. After IFT-4, SpaceX had fewer issues to address, and the FAA did not require additional investigations. The goal of SpaceX is to make life interplanetary, and bringing the giant booster back for a pinpoint landing on the Starbase launch mount with IFT-5 would be another remarkable achievement. Musk's updates on Twitter indicate that exciting developments are on the horizon for SpaceX and its Starship program.
