According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is set to release the Series 10 of the Apple Watch with larger displays similar in size to the Apple Watch Ultra. These new models are expected to be thinner as well. Apple has been working on advanced health features for its smartwatches, including tools to measure high blood pressure and detect sleep apnea. However, development of these features has hit some roadblocks, with sleep apnea monitoring in particular being delayed due to a patent dispute regarding blood oxygen saturation measurements. Gurman also suggests a new version of the Apple Watch SE may be released with a plastic shell, potentially lowering the starting price. Both the Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra will come equipped with new chips for improved performance.
