Exclusive: 'One Piece' Season 2 Casts Baroque Works Villains in Netflix Series

Netflix's live-action "One Piece" TV series has announced the casting of four new actors for its upcoming second season, playing key villains from the popular manga and anime series. Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, and David Dastmalchian will bring to life the characters of Mr. 9, Mr. 5, Miss Valentine, and Mr. 3, respectively, members of the criminal syndicate Baroque Works.
The series, created in partnership with "One Piece" manga publisher Shueisha, has garnered solid viewership and critical praise since its first season premiered on Netflix. The story follows aspiring pirate king Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, as he sets sail to find the legendary treasure, One Piece. The show is executive produced by the manga and anime's creator Eiichiro Oda and co-showrunners Matt Owens and Joe Tracz, showcasing a thrilling adventure on the high seas filled with danger, rivalries, and camaraderie.
