Former Alf Child Actor Benji Gregory Passes Away at 46

Benji Gregory, the beloved actor known for his role as Brian Tanner in the hit 1980s sitcom "Alf," tragically passed away at the age of 46. His sister, Rebecca Pfaffinger, confirmed his death in a heartbreaking Facebook post, revealing that he died from vehicular heatstroke after falling asleep in his car. Gregory was found along with his service dog Hans, both deceased, on June 13th.
Gregory was best known for his role in "Alf," a show about a family's adventures with a charming extraterrestrial. He also appeared in other popular '80s series such as “The A-Team,” “Punky Brewster” and “Amazing Stories.” After his acting career, he joined the U.S. Navy as an aerographer’s mate.
The New York Times reported that Gregory struggled with bipolar disorder and depression, shedding light on the challenges he faced throughout his life. His untimely death has left fans mourning the loss of a talented actor and a kind-hearted individual.
