Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis was wrongfully removed from a United Airlines flight after a false accusation by a flight attendant. The incident occurred when Davis calmly tapped the attendant's arm to request a cup of ice for his son. In response, the flight attendant accused Davis of hitting him, leading to a humiliating and embarrassing situation where he was handcuffed in front of his family and escorted off the plane by FBI agents and local authorities. After law enforcement determined the flight attendant was mistaken, Davis demanded an investigation and his attorney stated they are actively pursuing the matter with United Airlines. The airline has apologized to Davis and removed the flight attendant from duty pending a review of the incident. Davis, a two-time Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer, expressed his shock and disappointment over the situation.
