Last week, a giraffe feeding experience at a Texas wildlife center took a frightening turn when a toddler was hoisted into the air by one of the animals. Video footage shared by the toddler's father shows the girl attempting to feed the giraffe from the back of a pickup truck, only for the giraffe to unexpectedly grab her and lift her into the air. The Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose has since implemented a new rule prohibiting visitors from riding in truck beds following the incident. Despite the scare, the toddler's family remains "saddened" by the news but plans to revisit the park, emphasizing that accidents happen and they harbor no ill will towards the giraffe or the park.
