Google is introducing a new feature on Android Chrome called "Listen to this page", which allows the browser to read webpages out loud to users. This feature includes playback controls similar to music or podcast players, providing options to pause, change reading speed, scrub forward, and skip ahead or back by 10 seconds at a time. Users can also customize the voice and language settings, with support for languages including English, French, German, Arabic, Hindi, and Spanish. To access this feature, users simply tap the three dots menu on a text-heavy page and select "Listen to this page". Another option is to use Google Assistant to read webpages, but this redirects users to the Google app. By integrating this feature directly into Chrome, users can listen to webpages without leaving their browser, enhancing the overall browsing experience.
