Google Releases Latest Android 15 Beta 3.1 Update with Pixel Lockscreen Fix

Google has released the Android 15 Beta 3.1 update, addressing key issues such as the frustrating lock screen problem. The update, AP31.240517.031, includes the June 2024 security patch and is available for various Pixel devices. Fixes include resolving touch input interception on the lock screen, biometric face authentication failures, and other issues affecting system stability, connectivity, and audio quality. The update size is 63.87 MB for a Pixel 8 and is currently rolling out globally. Those enrolled in the Android Beta Program will automatically receive the OTA update. Factory images and OTAs are available for Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 8a models.
