A masked gunman entered a McDonald's in The Bronx and targeted two young boys, ages 12 and 13, firing at least six shots before fleeing the scene. The 12-year-old was hit in the back and left leg, while his friend was struck in the left thigh. Both victims are in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital Medical Center. Police found the injured boys outside the fast-food restaurant after responding to a 911 call. The shooter, who wore black with a pink logo, remains at large. Six shell casings were recovered at the scene. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. This incident is part of a trend of increasing gun violence targeting young people in New York City, with other recent cases including a 9-year-old girl being shot and the accidental shooting of a 14-year-old cousin.
