Lewis Hamilton secured an impressive victory at the British Grand Prix, breaking the record for the most wins at a single event with his ninth triumph at Silverstone. The race saw Hamilton initially follow Mercedes team-mate George Russell before taking the lead on Lap 18 as the weather changed. Lando Norris surged to the front before battling with Hamilton and Max Verstappen as they all pitted for different tyres. Despite a late charge from Verstappen, Hamilton held on for the win, marking his 104th Formula 1 victory and achieving a milestone as the first driver to win a race after their 300th start. The podium was completed by Verstappen and Norris, with Piastri, Sainz, and Hulkenberg rounding out the top six. The race also saw Aston Martin secure a double points finish.
