Hayden Springer made history on Thursday by becoming the 14th golfer to shoot a sub-60 round in PGA Tour history. At the John Deere Classic, Springer started strong with an eagle and four consecutive birdies, finishing the front nine at 27. He continued his hot streak with five straight pars on the back nine, closing with birdies on two of the final four holes and another eagle. His final score of 59 and 12-under par put him four strokes ahead of Harry Hall and five strokes ahead of Kevin Chappell and Hayden Buckley. This is only the eighth sub-60 round worldwide this year, with Cameron Young also achieving the feat recently. Springer's achievement comes just three weeks after Young's historic round, showcasing an impressive display of skill and talent.
