After captivating guests for 34 years, the Mirage casino and hotel on the Las Vegas strip is closing its doors tomorrow. The iconic establishment will be reimagined and reopened in 2027 as a Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Guitar Hotel Las Vegas. Known for its golden mirrored windows, dolphin habitat, and nightly volcanic eruptions, the Mirage has been a staple of entertainment in Sin City. From Siegfried and Roy's mesmerizing white tiger shows to Terry Fator's ventriloquism performances, the Mirage has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment. With plans for a 700-foot guitar-shaped hotel tower, the Mirage's legacy will continue in a new form. As the countdown to closure nears, visitors are encouraged to experience the magic of the Mirage one last time before it transforms into a new chapter of Las Vegas history.
