Throughout his illustrious six-decade career, Sikking captivated audiences with his diverse performances in television, film, and stage. He garnered critical acclaim for his portrayal of Lt. Howard Hunter on “Hill Street Blues,” earning an Emmy nomination in 1984. Following the success of the series, he went on to play the role of Dr. David Howser on “Doogie Howser, M.D.” for four seasons.
