The feature is designed to offer a smooth experience with minimal latency, including an option to interrupt the AI. In addition, Character.AI recently launched a Character Voices feature to enhance one-on-one chats, boasting over 1 million voices in the app's library. While some users have reported changes in their characters' personalities, the startup clarified that no major alterations were made.
