The latest iOS 18 update brings a subtle yet impactful change to the buttons on the iPhone, enhancing the user experience when adjusting volume, using the Action button, or locking the screen. When pressed, the iPhone buttons now cause the display bezel to bulge slightly outward, giving a more tactile feel. This feature is now present on the volume, Action, and power buttons, with rumors suggesting it will also be included on the rumored Capture button for the iPhone 16 models. The Capture button, located on the bottom right side of the phone, will streamline photo and video capturing in landscape orientation. The addition of a visual element to button usage, particularly on the iPhone 16, enhances functionality and user engagement. While this feature is exclusive to iPhones with iOS 18, Apple is set to release a public beta in July for broader access.
