Jack Black has made the decision to cancel his latest Tenacious D tour and put all future creative plans on hold following his partner Kyle Gass' controversial on-stage joke about the recent assassination attempt against Donald Trump. In a statement, Black expressed his shock and disapproval of the incident, stating that he does not support hate speech or political violence in any form. The duo was scheduled to continue their tour in Australia and New Zealand, as well as begin a U.S. tour in October, but all upcoming shows have been cancelled. Black, known for his support of the Democrats, had even made a public endorsement of the incumbent president at a fundraiser earlier this year. The cancellation of the tour has disappointed fans, but Black remains grateful for their support and understanding.
