James Gunn is assembling an all-star cast for his upcoming Superman film as Mikaela Hoover and Christopher McDonald have joined the Daily Planet newsroom. With David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, the movie promises to bring iconic characters to life. Beck Bennett will play the self-serving reporter Steve Lombard, while Hoover takes on the role of gossip columnist Cat Grant and McDonald portrays top reporter Ron Troupe. Set to release in 2025, the film will also feature Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor and other classic Superman characters like Jimmy Olsen and Perry White. In addition, DC heroes such as Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, and Hawkgirl will make appearances. With a star-studded lineup and Gunn's direction, this Superman movie is sure to be a blockbuster hit.
