Jennifer Lawrence Set to Star in A24's Film Adaptation of Paul B. Rainey's Graphic Novel 'Why Don't You Love Me?'

Jennifer Lawrence is set to collaborate with A24 once again for the film adaptation of Paul B. Rainey's graphic novel "Why Don't You Love Me?". The darkly comedic novel follows the story of a struggling couple, Claire and Mark, as they navigate through marriage, alcoholism, depression, and lost opportunities. The screenplay is being written by Robert Funke, with the search for a director currently underway.
Lawrence's production company, Excellent Cadaver, is producing the film alongside Justine Ciarrocchi. The project has also secured Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen, and Emily Hildner as producers. Known for her successful partnership with A24 on previous projects, Lawrence has expanded her portfolio with films like "Causeway" and "No Hard Feelings".
In addition to "Why Don't You Love Me?", Lawrence is also set to star in the murder mystery film "The Wives" for Apple Original Films and A24. With an impressive lineup of projects, Lawrence's collaboration with A24 continues to generate buzz in the film industry.
