Apple Original Film, A24, and Jennifer Lawrence are teaming up for a new feature film called The Wives, a murder mystery project with Lawrence starring and producing. The script was written by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, with no director attached as of yet. Inspired by the Real Housewives franchise, the film promises to deliver drama and theatrics of well-to-do women in various cities. Joining Lawrence on the producing team are Justine Ciarrocchi, Tony nominee Jeremy O. Harris, and Josh Godfrey. Co-produced by Apple Studios and A24, The Wives is in development and is set to be an intriguing addition to the growing partnership between Apple and A24.
