In a highly competitive situation, Apple Original Films has acquired the murder mystery project "The Wives," starring Jennifer Lawrence. This drama-filled whodunit promises plenty of feuding, day-drinking, and lavish disposable income until a body turns up, reminiscent of "The Real Housewives." Lawrence will produce the film through her company, Excellent Cadaver, alongside Justine Ciarrocchi. The script, penned by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley, is being developed under the Apple Studios and A24 collaboration. No final plot or shooting schedule has been announced yet. Lawrence, known for her roles in "No Hard Feelings" and "Don't Look Up," will bring her star power to this eagerly anticipated project.
