Jeremy Renner recently revealed in a podcast interview that he is still recovering from his life-threatening snow plow accident and does not have the energy to take on challenging acting roles. He admitted, “I just don’t have the fuel…I can’t just go play make-believe right now.” Renner was hospitalized in 2023 after being run over by a 14,000-pound snow plow, resulting in chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Despite his fears, he returned to filming “Mayor of Kingstown” earlier this year. Renner shared that taking on a demanding role like portraying a character like Dahmer would have been too much for him. His next project is Rian Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.” Renner's experience highlights the challenges of returning to work after a traumatic event and the importance of prioritizing mental and physical well-being.
