Justin Timberlake, 43, is facing charges of driving while intoxicated after being arrested in Sag Harbor, a popular celebrity holiday destination in New York. His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr, has stated that he will "vigorously defend" the singer against the allegations. Timberlake, who was released without bail, is scheduled to virtually appear in court on 26 July, coinciding with the launch of his world tour in Poland. According to a charging document, Timberlake's eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and he performed poorly on sobriety tests administered by officers. The singer also refused a breathalyser test. Timberlake, known for his music and acting career, has previously sought help for excessive drinking. If convicted, he could face up to a year in jail, a $1,000 fine, and a suspension of his driver's license.
