Pop star Justin Timberlake has been ordered to appear in court virtually on July 26 after being arrested for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons. The singer was pulled over by police after driving through a stop sign and swerving into oncoming traffic at 12:37 a.m. Timberlake, who was driving a 2025 grey BMW, was found to be operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition with bloodshot, glassy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Despite claiming to have only had one drink, Timberlake performed poorly on a field sobriety test. The 43-year-old musician was released on his own recognizance after spending the night in custody and has upcoming concerts scheduled as part of his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour." This incident marks a legal setback for Timberlake, who has achieved immense success both as a solo artist and a member of the boy band *NYSNC.
