Territory Pictures and New Line Cinema have decided to postpone the release of Kevin Costner's "Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2" in theaters. This change was made to allow audiences more time to discover the first installment of 'Horizon' through PVOD and Max streaming services. Costner, who invested $38 million of his own money into the project, stars in and directs this Western film that he has been working on for almost 30 years. Despite the original plan of a fast back-to-back release for the two "Horizon" films, the distributor opted for a strategic delay after the first chapter's modest box office performance. Costner's deep admiration for the Western genre is evident in this project. The film will now be available for streaming at home on Premium VOD. Audience responses to 'Horizon' have been positive, prompting excitement for the continuation of the saga in 'Horizon 2.'
