Kevin Costner's Horizon: An American Saga was expected to have a sequel released next month, but it has now been removed from the calendar. The decision to delay Chapter 2 was made in order to give audiences more time to discover the first installment, which is set to release on PVOD on July 16. Costner directed and starred in the Western series, which reportedly cost $100 million to make but only earned $11 million in its opening weekend. While Chapter 1 has performed steadily with older audiences in middle America, the decision to postpone Chapter 2's release date was made in hopes of generating more interest and potentially releasing additional chapters in the future. No new release plans for Chapter 2 have been announced at this time.
