Madison Apartment Building to Proceed with 400-Ton Moving Project

The City of Madison announces the continuation of moving operations for the 400-ton W. Dayton apartment building on Friday morning. The building is being relocated from the 400 block of W. Dayton Street to the 500 block of W. Mifflin Street, currently situated at W. Dayton Street and N. Bassett Street. Operations were halted to restore electricity for some residents, and resumed at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. N. Bassett Street will be closed during the move, but the timing is uncertain.
